The 2026 Nobel Prize in Chemistry puts molecular handedness and asymmetric chemistry in the spotlight: two concepts at the heart of CHIRALNANOMAT.

The research projects of our CHIRALNANOMAT Doctoral Candidates are already reaching the wider scientific community, with several of our researchers beginning to present their work at conferences and scientific meetings across Europe.

Researchers from different scientific communities came together at CNR-ICCOM in Pisa, Italy, for a few days of collaboration and training, strengthening connections between the CHIRALNANOMAT Doctoral Network and the COSY COST Action (CA21101).

With the end of summer comes the beginning of an important stage in the CHIRALNANOMAT training programme: the research rotations of our Doctoral Candidates

From 6 to 9 July 2026, the CHIRALNANOMAT Doctoral Network officially launched with its Kick-Off Event, hosted by TU Wien in Vienna, Austria.

The CHIRALNANOMAT Doctoral Network is currently holding its Kick-Off Event at TU Wien, bringing together doctoral candidates, supervisors, and consortium partners from across Europe for the first time.

With doctoral candidates joining partner institutions, research activities across the Chiralnanomat Doctoral Network are now progressively underway.

The recruitment phase for the CHIRALNANOMAT Doctoral Network closed on November 2025 and attracted a strong international response from highly qualified candidates.
