The CHIRALNANOMAT community gathers for the first time to launch four years of scientific collaboration, doctoral training, and innovation in chiral nanomaterials.
From 6 to 9 July, the CHIRALNANOMAT Doctoral Network will hold its official Kick-Off Event in Vienna, Austria, marking an important milestone in the launch of this ambitious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network.
Hosted by TU Wien, the four-day meeting will bring together, for the first time, all members of the consortium, including Principal Investigators, doctoral candidates, and representatives from the academic and industrial partner institutions across Europe.
The event will provide a unique opportunity for participants to connect, exchange ideas, and lay the foundations for future collaboration within the network.
The programme will feature scientific presentations introducing the different doctoral projects and research expertise represented in CHIRALNANOMAT, alongside discussions aimed at fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and strengthening the scientific vision of the consortium.
In addition to the scientific sessions, participants will take part in a series of soft skills workshops designed to support their professional development and equip them with transferable skills that are essential for their future careers in academia and industry. Dedicated team-building activities will further encourage meaningful interactions, helping to build a strong and cohesive community among the network members from the very beginning of the project.
As a Doctoral Network focused on advancing the field of chiral nanomaterials through close collaboration between universities and industry, CHIRALNANOMAT places particular emphasis on creating an inclusive, multidisciplinary, and interconnected training environment. This Kick-Off Event represents the first step in that shared journey.
